This past week we had the privilege of going to The Wilds for our mission board’s annual orientation week. This week is always a great time of refreshment and learning, as we are able to hear from Pastor Austin Gardner, Director Jeff Bush, and other veteran missionaries, as they speak on topics such as dealing with culture shock, protecting your marriage on the field, and training national men. I am so grateful that we have the privilege to learn from these men who have gone before us!
Having spent this past week in a camp setting, our hearts have a renewed burden for the Our Generation Camp that is coming up in June. We so believe in this camp, that my wife and I have decided to sponsor a teenager to attend camp. The Our Generation Camp will be held at the Sand Mountain Bible Camp in Trenton, GA, during the week of June 24-28. If you, or a young person in your church are at all interested in missions or world evangelism, this week is an invaluable week, as they will get to hear and learn from numerous veteran missionaries.
